In continuation of my Despatch No. 25 of the 17th. instant, I have the honour to transmit for your information the enclosed copy of a further letter from the Commodore in which he states that the Admiralty have no definite areas in view at present to be reserved for Naval purposes, but that they desire to be consulted if at any time it is contemplated to concede Crown rights over Islands in or near the Harbour or land on its shores.
2. Although this reply is somewhat vague, I have issued instructions for the observance of the wishes of the Naval Authorities so far as they are known.
